Police investigating suspicious fire in Sydney after two cars set alight

Police are treating two car fires in Sydney's west this morning as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to Wallace Street in Granville at around 5:30am this morning, initially under the belief they were fighting a house fire.
However, when they arrived, they found two cars in flames.
NSW Fire and Rescue Superintendent Adam Dewberry told 9News three fire trucks were on the scene and worked to ensure the blaze didn't spread to any properties.
"Firefighters contained those fires quickly," he said.
"[There were] only local evacuations on the home, no injuries reported."
