Xmas beach party ends in ‘serious’ injury



A man is in a serious but stable condition after suffering a head injury when he slipped while trying to jump off a cliff into a pool at a Christmas Day beach party.

Police were told the man in his 20s was jumping from a cliff into an ocean pool at Bronte Beach when he slipped and fell on a hard surface.

Emergency services rushed to the scene about 4.30pm on Wednesday following reports he had sustained a head injury.
